OSRS High Alch Profit Calculator

Which items are actually worth High Level Alchemy right now, after the nature rune cost and the live Grand Exchange buy price — not a static list, recalculated from real-time prices every time this page loads.

The math

High Alch profit per cast is: the item's high alch value − one nature rune's live price − the item's live GE buy price. No 2% GE tax applies here — the coins come from casting the spell, not from a Grand Exchange sale, so what you see below is the full profit per cast.

High alch values are fixed by Jagex and don't move with the market — buy prices do. That's the entire alching money-making loop: an item's alch value stays put while its GE price drifts below it, and the gap is your profit. The list below only shows items where that gap is currently positive.

Why this beats a static "best items to alch" list

Any list that isn't pulling live prices goes stale the moment the market moves — an item worth alching today can be a loss tomorrow if its buy price creeps up. This page (and PocketGE itself) recomputes against real-time Grand Exchange data instead of a fixed table, so what's shown is accurate for right now, not for whenever the page was last written.

FAQ

How is High Alchemy profit calculated?

High alch value minus one nature rune's live cost minus the item's live GE buy price. No GE tax applies since alching isn't a Grand Exchange sale.

Do I need Magic level 55 for High Level Alchemy?

Yes — 55 Magic, one nature rune per cast, plus whatever covers the spell's fire element (a fire staff or fire runes).

Can free-to-play players make money High Alching?

Yes — use the Free-to-play tab above to see only items an F2P account can actually buy and alch, ranked by live profit.
