OSRS Items at 5-Day Lows

A live dip scanner: items whose current Grand Exchange price is testing or breaching its true 5-day low — a genuine multi-day trough, not just today's intraday wobble.

Why 5-day, not 24-hour

PocketGE builds each item's 5-day low from rolling 1-hour volume-weighted candles across the last five days, then flags it only when the live competitive price is within 0.5% of, or below, that actual band — with a minimum 3% 5-day range required so a flat item can't false-positive on rounding noise. A stronger, more deliberate signal than a routine day low.

A 5-day low is a genuine dip-buy setup, but not every dip recovers — check the item's daily volume and recent chart before committing capital, and use PocketGE's Target Buy (which factors in fill probability, not just the raw low print) rather than bidding at the exact floor.

How the scan stays fast

Checking every tradeable item's real 5-day range against a raw hourly history would mean thousands of API calls. PocketGE bounds the scan to a ranked candidate pool — the highest-volume and highest-price items — so the dip list stays current without flooding the OSRS Wiki price API.
