About Inquisitor's mace

In game it is examined as “A powerful mace once wielded by the turncloak Justiciar.” Inquisitor's mace is members-only, so a membership is needed to trade or use it. The base game value is 5,000,000 gp, which is what shops price from rather than what players pay.

Inquisitor's mace buy limit

The Grand Exchange lets one account buy 8 every 4 hours. That is a very tight limit, so a position is built over days rather than hours. Filling it once costs about 2,847,600,000 gp at the 355,950,000 gp price recorded on 11 October 2026. The limit is per account and resets on a rolling 4-hour timer.

GE tax on Inquisitor's mace

2% of 355,950,000 gp would be 7,119,000 gp, but the Grand Exchange caps its tax at 5,000,000 gp per item — so a sale near this price pays a flat 5,000,000 gp, and the effective rate falls the higher the price goes.

High alching Inquisitor's mace

High alchemy turns one Inquisitor's mace into 3,000,000 gp. Inquisitor's mace is worth far more than that on the Grand Exchange, so the figure matters for the alch calculator rather than as anything to do.

How much Inquisitor's mace trades

Inquisitor's mace sees about 30 trades a day, which makes it very thinly traded — there may be no buyer for hours at a time, and one sale can set the price. That is roughly 4 times the 8 buy limit.
